Since the launched of Intel's latest line of processors, Core-i7, many have been asking when will Intel Skulltrail support the Core-i7? For you people who don't know what Intel Skulltrail is, Skulltrail is the motherboard produced by Intel that can accomodate two processors at a time. I know the innovation of placing 2 processors in a single computer goes way back to time of Pentium II. The difference between the old multi-processor platforms and the Intel Skulltrail, is that previous multi-processor platforms can only accomodate Server type processors, like Intel's Xeon product line. While Skulltrail can accomodate gaming processors like QX9775.
If you are aware or have been watching videos made by Trubitar on Youtube the Core-i7 aced the 3D-Mark Vantage in its standard clock. So if you are an avid gamer and money is like nothing to you, of course you want the best your money can buy. The best combination many enthusiast are talking about is the combination of the Core-i7 and the Skulltrail. And when I say many I mean MANY enthusiast are talking about this combo.
I'm sure Intel isn't deaf, hearing impared or something like that, so why the hell are they taking so long to release a Skulltrail that supports the Core-i7. If you take a closer look at it, it's a win-win situation for them because both elements in the setup belongs to them.
